Boulevard Brewery Wedding Photography

Dan and Nicole’s wedding day was beautiful, full of laughter, songs on repeat, happy tears, amazing clouds, and so many surprises. I have included some of my favorite photographs in the slideshow below featuring great moments from everything from getting ready to a rocking party at Boulevard Brewery.

Preparations

Both the ladies and gents prepared for the big day at The Intercontinental Hotel on the Plaza, where they finished up hair and makeup, sipped on whiskey, and figured out how to put those darn bow ties & pocket squares on correctly.

Ceremony

They exchanged vows at the intimate Pilgrim Chapel, where they saw each other for the first time during the walk down the aisle. They included a ring warming ceremony and had a trio playing. There was not a dry eye in the place. Storms were rolling in fast, so we had just a small amount of time to grab some family, bridal party, and newlywed photographs before they were ready for their grand entrance.

Reception

They chose their reception at Boulevard Brewery because they love beer, but it’s a pretty amazing venue too. There they had a great party (with some great beers).

Some special things to note throughout the day:

Dan planned 5 small gifts to be delivered via Nicole’s bridesmaids through the course of the day. I was witness to one of the exchanges, and again, happy tears.

Petra, Nicole’s sister, gave her a jewelry box that holds her bouquet charms and a ring that once belonged to their mother. On the trolley, they tied the charms onto the bridal bouquet and shared some tears in remembrance of their mother. Petra also made all those pocket squares and the later mentioned card game, because that is true sisterly love.

It was planned for Kingslin to ring the chappel wedding bells then the new family to make their final exit together while the guests will wave happy ribbon sticks. Except that the bell never really rang, and we did the ribbon exit inside because of the weather. You know, weddings!

One of the surprises for the couple was a “Brides against Humanity” card game to be played during the cocktail hour and used to roast the couple during toasts.

I’ve never seen a more raucous bouquet toss! This was killer. Nicole’s cousins fought for those flowers that came out of the bouquet in heat of competition.

Kingslon gave a great toast to “daddy Dan” and joined at the end of the first dance. He showed everyone his amaze-balls dance moves too.

Dan’s brothers led their mother out onto the dance floor for the mother-son dance.

There we so many great moments during this wedding day. If I missed one, write it into the comments, and I’ll include it in this post!
