Congrats to Caitlin & Jimmy who were married at Noah’s Event Venue on September 9th, 2017. They had colors of navy and yellow, which tied in their love of Kansas and KU. Caitlin always loved the way girls would wear sunflowers in their hair at football and basketball games. And the navy blue felt perfect for the fall season. They had gorgeous custom designed invitations by Magpie Designed as one of their wedding day details, as well as navy coozies, a beautiful bean bag box with their names and wedding date (played during the cocktail hour), and stunning sunflowers everywhere.
“So many wonderful moments on our wedding day. If I had to pick a favorite though, I’d have to say it was the first look. Jimmy is and always has been Mr. Tough Guy who doesn’t like to show his feelings. So the moment when he turned around and first saw me, I knew the emotion was real (because it wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t) and the fact that he couldn’t suppress it like he normally tries to do made me so happy as a bride! His reaction was all I could ask for. I was so excited to see my dress, hair, & makeup together so I’m glad he loved it too! And he looked so handsome in his suit!”
Oh, how I love capturing the special moments that happen between a bride and her sister and mother.
Bella Chic Floral Odid a great job with all the bouquets and flowers that decorated the space.

Kansas City cocktail hour and reception photography It was an emotional and special mother-son dance for Jimmy, his sister, and mother. Look at that cake! Followed by a KU tradition.
Getting the party started…and let me tell you there were some great dancers!
