CPT Samuel Taylor, and his gorgeous wife, Christina had a short, sweet and intimate wedding prior to moving to Hawaii for the military. They wanted to throw a big ceremony for everyone to attend. Having friends and family be a part of the celebration of their marriage was very important to them. So, here are some photographic highlights from their Kansas City Carriage Club wedding and reception! I love all the military traditions present on their wedding day.
Christina’s group were so relaxed and all about enjoying the little moments. Christina choose a purple wedding gown, which made her feel like a Disney princess. The guys were goofy and full of personality. 
The first look is always so special. Christina had visions of incorporating a doorway for this special moment. I think it worked perfectly for them. 
As a couple, they are very sweet and a lot silly together. We incorporated their humor into their portraits as well as the bridal party group portraits.
The ceremony was gorgeous!
The reception was decorated with teal blue, purple and white with a military theme. Check out those soldiers decorating the cake! During the grand entrance, they had a nerf gun war between the guys and gals. 
Military Toast
Sam’s parents cut their wedding cake with a sword, and Sam is continuing the tradition. For the father-daughter dance, Christina’s mother joined in. Then, for the mother-son dance, Sam his mom took it to a whole new level with a choreographed dance incorporating all the greatest dance moves (except the sprinkler…I was really hoping for that one!). 
This was a great party with no shortage of dancing. 
And at the end of the night, we took the couple out for some night shots in the front of the Carriage Club with the fountain. To us, it felt like a classic movie scene.
