Fall Family Portrait Session: Sirridge

November 2, 2018

Fall is an amazing time of year for family portraits, especially when you have a tiny babe in your arms and have never had professional photographs taken (not even wedding ones!).  I love being able to capture that Christmas card image and all of those relationship and real moments.  For our fall family portrait session, some gas got in the way and baby R didn’t feel like his normal smiley self. But you know what?  Because of that, we got some really sweet (and real) moments of Hilary and Ryan shushing him, feeding him, looking over him, and wrapping him.  To me, that is the essence of family: some smiley happy moments and some moments of tears, but both with all the love and support that we can give.  It’s beautiful, isn’t it?

Look at those sweet baby hands!  And those tender snuggles!

Some of that “shushing” and parenting moments.

And then a few moments for some portraits!!

While grandma took care of baby R, mom and dad got some time to capture the love they have for each other. And that laughter and nose crinkles!  If you have followed my work long, you know I’m a sucker for those.
