Wedding Specific
How many weddings do you photograph per year?
To best serve my couples, I limit weddings to 15 a year and never shoot more than one wedding in a single day. This helps keep my creativity (and energy level) fresh while being able to give you top notch service.
How many hours of coverage do I need?
All of my full day wedding collections include up 10 hours of coverage with 2 awesome photographers. I know that it takes some time to get your wedding day figured out, and you might not yet know how you want your day to flow, or what will be the most important to you. But with 10 hours, you can relax and know that no matter what, you’ll be covered! And if you decide you need extra hours, that can be added onto your collection at any time.
Have you shot at my venue before?
Maybe! But I’ll let you in on a little secret. It truly does not matter! My creativity is fueled by variety (I love new venues!) and the moments as they are happening. So, for you, that means that I can walk into your venue, quickly evaluate the best options for your photographs, set up externals lights if the situation calls for it, and adapt to whatever is in front of me. And if I need to scout beforehand, I most definitely will!
My venue is dark/has weird lighting. . .can you handle that?
Absolutely. I have external lights to help with those tricky situations and quality equipment to handle any situation.
What is your booking process?
50% of your collection amount is due to secure your date, along with a signed contract. The remaining 50% is due 2 months prior to your wedding date. The booking process is simple and all online: you choose your collection, sign your contract, and make a secure bank transfer all online to keep it easy on your end.
Do you take family formal shots?
This is such an important part of the day and deserves to be treated with respect, organization, and a smile. We will work on a list of important groupings beforehand so that nothing is missed. I work very efficiently so that we can move along to other parts of your day. Family portraits need to be done well, but don’t have to take hours to complete.
Do you have a plan for the wedding day?
We spend a great deal of time talking about your wedding day timeline and figuring out how you want the day to flow, while taking into account the photographic (and wedding day) realities. I’ve had a lot of experience with what works and what doesn’t, which helps us plan a timeline that is easy to stay on track with.
How are images selected for my album?
You have 2 months after receiving your online proofing gallery to select all the images you love, and I will design your custom album from there. This works great because I want the images in your album to be the ones that touch your heart strings. Once you receive your proof album design, you will have the opportunity to request changes. If, after the 2 month timeframe, you have not selected your favorites, I will send a reminder and then choose images for you. You can then make change requests on your album design.
