For Your Wedding + Engagement
My goal is to capture the beauty, spirit, and personality of your wedding in an original and artistic way. In order to accomplish this, I feel it is of the utmost importance to let the events of your day unfold on their own. Therefore, I try to stay in the background as much as possible, offering direction only when it is needed (such as during portraits). After all, it is my job to document your wedding, not be in it.
Before your wedding day, I’m here to help with your timeline and formal portrait list. I’ll help you feel comfortable in front of the camera during your engagement session, so it will begin to feel like second nature. I can assist you with custom album designs, a guest signing book, wall art, and a gift registry with the studio. On the big day, I’ll be there to calm your nerves (or your mother’s!), to grab you a cold water (or glass of wine), to be a friend, and to help you simply relax and enjoy everything. Finally, after your wedding, I will present you with a collection of images that tell the unique story of your day [this is my favorite part!]. I would also love to design an heirloom album for you, as albums are the perfect way to pass your love story on to all the future generations of your family.
For your Portrait Session
Your session will be anything but stiff and formal. I work hard to ensure that our time together is fun and relaxed, and that your images are too! Just like with the weddings I shoot, the goal of portrait sessions is to create honest and authentic images that show the real “you” and tell your real story. I will help plan your session, so that we select locations that mean something to you and show exactly what you want to remember. I can also assist with clothing selections, and I will capture a variety of images, both posed and candid, to give you the perfect mix when all is said and done.
