A very warm congratulations to Kelsey & Clint! The two of you were delightful to photograph and I loved all the details you so carefully planned and created.
As Clint played a game of pool or two in the basement with the guys, Kelsey did her makeup and hung out with her girls upstairs. Her mother helped her into her dress, and all the girls helped with her shoes. Then it was her dad’s moment to see her for the the first time. And her twin brother.
The couple’s first look and a few wedding day portraits:
The bridal party was a lot of fun, and the tractor was both meaningful and a great prop.
Kelsey and Clint really are so sweet together. I loved that we got to use Clint’s grandparent’s piano for some quiet portraits before the ceremony. The moments before you are about to say “I do” are pretty special.
Clint’s mother pinned on his boutineer and Kelsey’s grandmother put on her pearl necklace.
The flower girl made it down the isle with a little help from the Jr. Bridesmaid to welcome Kelsey and her father.
Bubbles! And a tractor to take the newly weds away!!!
The reception was wonderfully decorated with Kelsey’s flair and the toasts left all laughing from the great stories told. I am pretty sure that may be one of the prettiest cakes I’ve ever seen. Almost a shame to cut it. Almost….The first dance as a Mr. & Mrs. And the father-daughter dance and mother-son dance:
And a special Footloose dance from the bridal party to commemorate a great story. If you don’t know it, you should ask!
