Not sure I could have dreamed of a better start to the 2022 wedding and engagement season. Kevin and Taylor totally knocked their River Market engagement photo session out of the park. These are some of my favorites from the session, but honestly, I love every….single….one….of their photos. Their easy laughter, sweetness, and playful personality were so much fun to photograph. On their session day, the weather was gorgeous and everyone in the area was feeling happy and ready for spring. All of this made for a great River Market Engagement session experience.
Wondering if there is anything special to the pizza images? Well, of course, there is! As Taylor told me:
Kevin kept joking with me that he wanted to just wear his Star Wars t-shirt in pictures. Minsky’s happens to be kind of special in our relationship as one of the locations was where we first told each other we loved each other. And there happens to be a Minsky’s in the River Market. Can we make fit this into our session?
You bet ya! They also told me that they love to be outside, take walks, and dance around the house, so we made sure to capture that as well as their cozy, snuggle-up vibes.
Relationship Capturing Photography
We love to goof around and dance around the kitchen, living room, you name it! Also, we are big jokesters with each other and are always laughing. We spend most of our time trying to snuggle with Taylor’s (and soon to be Kevin’s) fluffy cat, Tug. Both of us are big foodies and enjoy trying new foods and restaurants, but also love to eat out at our favorites! On occasion, we will make sushi or something fun together at home. Kevin is a fabulous cook and Taylor usually handles the baking and wine-drinking 🙂
When it’s warm out, we love to take a backpack and a speaker and go on long walks where we talk about the future. We both love scary movies and relaxing weekends spent binging the newest show on Netflix. On occasion, we both enjoy going to a musical or show in town. The two of us are big on family time, so we spend many of our weekends with family or friends just hanging out and catching up on life! Kevin’s family members are big sports fanatics and he has slowly been teaching Taylor the ropes of football and baseball. Go Chiefs and Royals!
Kevin and Taylor will be getting married this fall at The Welsey Chapel at Church of the Resurrection Leawood and their reception will be at The Grand Hall at Power and Light.
