Lauren & Greg: A Gorgeous Church Wedding & Baltimore Club Reception

October 22, 2014

Congratulations to Lauren & Greg!  What a beautiful wedding you had!  The Baltimore Club was decorated to perfection (which, when you start with a wedding venue as stunning as the Baltimore Club and add some incredible flowers, cake, and grand entrance waving ribbons, it really does impress).

The girls started their day at Ecklectica Saloon in Briarcliff with hair and makeup while my amazing second photographer photographed the details and the guys trying to figure out how to pin on their boutineers.  Then the ladies were ready to help Lauren into her dress, help with her shoes & garter, and jewelry.  There is something so special about the way a mother looks at her little girl, all grown up, as she puts on the finishing touches for her wedding day.01_Getting Ready at Baltimore Club KC Lauren & Greg chose to do a first look before the ceremony.  Lauren cried while Greg looked sweetly at her (I’m pretty sure he expected the happy tears).  Since their reception was going to be during the evening, we used the amazing stain glass windows in their reception room so they have images of them all lit up and show off the perfect decorating.02_First Look The bridal party was SO much fun.  We headed to the Liberty Memorial for some relaxed and fun photography of the friends, complete with a skyline shot.03_Bridal Party at Liberty Memorial Are they not the cutest couple?  Lauren, you looked simply stunning.  And those flowers!04_Wedding Portraits at Liberty Memorial I am pretty sure I know where Lauren’s range of expressions come from.  Your expressions of joy, love, and shock all day were fabulous.  The church of The Guardian Angel is beautiful too, and I could not think of  a better place for the two of you to say “I do”.05_Kansas City Wedding CeremonyHow pretty is that cake too?  The ribbons welcomed the newly married couple during the grand entrance and proved to be fun all night long.  There was much celebration all around through out the night and the toasts were both sweet and funny.
