We photographed Meagan & Seth’s spring engagement session on their “100th day ’til I do” and it was everything we all could have hoped for. They were ecstatic to have their photos taken on such a special date, the trees were blooming with beautiful white and purple buds (and they were dressed perfectly for that magical scene), and the sun was shining. I adore how comfortable and sweet they are together and how they make each other smile.
They tell their story best, so here it is:
Meagan and Seth met in Portland, Oregon in September of 2016.
Seth, a Kansan through and through was in Oregon by way of business after finishing his degree in Environmental Studies. Meagan, a New York native from California, with roots in the South, was in Oregon pursuing a Masters degree in Business.
Since their first date, the two have barely left each other’s sides.
Meagan says Seth challenges her in ways she never imagined and encourages her to be all she can be. Seth says Meagan inspires him to be a better person and keeps him focused and grounded. Their favorite activities as a couple include hiking, day trip adventures, trying new foods, and tickle matches.
After moving to Kansas City in July, with the blessing of Meagan’s parents, Seth popped the question in September. It was a romantic day exploring the city, topped with dinner at a sushi restaurant in honor of their first date. He got down on one knee in front of the fountains at the Firefighters Memorial.
Now, with a couple of big moves under their belt, Seth and Meagan are ready for their next big chapter featuring “I do!”
