A senior sunrise photo session, in the fall, and at the farm: ummmm…yes please! Then you add in the personal connections to said sunrise senior photo shoot, and we are talking major excitement for my job. The sunrise was spectacular that morning, the farm is a beautiful place, and Jake is handsome with a killer smile.
The moment I married into this family I was blessed, and this farm and Jacob are such a big part of that blessing and story. I’ve gotten to be around this kid for the last 17 years. He has always been loyal, kind, generous with his time & space, and intelligent. But in these high school years, he has grown into a man to truly be proud of. He works hard, continues to be a good boy to his mamma, and has taken my children under his wings. It’s special to see.
So circling back to these senior photos, I was once again honored to capture special times in my extended families’ lives in a place that has been so good to me and mine. This is what makes my photography so special: the growing relationships. Even if they go off to college and leave us for a time.
